Three whole days with nothing but the sounds and sights of real nature – majestic views, real crickets, fresh air, the sound of your own breath and the beat of your own heart. When was the last time you truly switched off and gave YourSelf a little downtime – a little YOU time?
Spring is a time for new beginnings – a time for cleansing, growth and development. This May, grab your hiking boots and yoga mat and join Dana Rae Paré (Bio) and Trevor Monk (Bio) for 3 full days of hiking and yoga in Idyllwild, California. Hike amongst tall pine trees and mountain streams at altitudes of 6-8,000 ft. Breathe in fresh, crisp mountain air; absorb the energy of the nature that surrounds you and re-rejuvenate your soul! Feel empowered each day reaching a new summit with spectacular views. Our hiking program is a perfect complement to yoga, bringing a great sense of accomplishment and gratitude towards the power and beauty of nature (much needed these days!).
Along with daily hiking, cleanse and energize your body & mind and re-connect with your spirit with Soul Vinyasa. Dana will lead you on an inward journey as you move through a deeply cleansing dynamic, ashtanga-based, yoga sequence. Experienced students move forward by building strength and bringing more awareness & freedom into your practice. Newer students learn and develop through the daily progressive practice, repetition and the positive group energy that IY retreats create. With 3 days of progressive yoga classes, you’ll feel physically stronger and more flexible, and mentally calmer and clearer.
Infinite Yoga’s 3 day Weekend Retreats are designed for busy people who need a break to unwind their mind and are seeking an extremely active program for their body. This retreat is located in the San Jacinto mountains of Idyllwild, California, an artist’s colony just an easy 2 hour drive from L.A. or San Diego. Each full day includes 3 hours of yoga (active and restorative), and 3-4 hours of hiking. There are a variety of accommodation options to suit everyone’s budget (see details below).
The retreat begins at noon on Friday with our steep, but brief, first hike followed by yoga to get the body moving and breathing fresh cleansing mountain air after traveling. The retreat ends at 3:00 on Sunday after our last hike, with an option to leave at 11:00 if you skip the last hike.

Saturday & Sunday
7:00 – 7:45am Yoga Booty Peace Walk – greet each day with our steep, but brief silent, meditation hike through the woods.
7:45 – 9:30am Soul Vinyasa – take your practice to a new level, challenge yourself and explore your Inner Edge with 3 progressive days of active yoga, deeply rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa. Impeccable sequencing infused with Dana’s evocative words to challenge your body while elevating your soul! A moderate-paced balanced practice: breath-work, dynamic flowing sequence, backbends, finishing postures and Restorative Yoga. Move beyond boundaries to feel strong, free, and energized.
Prerequisite – This is a multi-level class with options being given to more advanced students. Students must have stamina for multiple sun salutations and knowledge and understanding of Ujjayi breath. Please contact us if you have any questions on your level of experience.
9:30am Hearty Brunch – served outside on the deck immediately after practice. Healthy and Nourishing!
11:00 Hiking led by Trevor – our hiking program is an amazing experience. Both challenging and empowering, with hours spent breathing fresh clean air and reconnecting with nature. Each day varies in length from 3 – 4 hours. Which includes taking breaks for water, lunch and, of course, enjoying the spectacular views. For our Spring Cleaning Retreat we will also offer a gentle hike (60-90 mins) each day.
Please Note: We’ll be walking at a moderate pace at altitudes up to 8,000 feet. If you are not used to this or do not currently walk, hike or run on a regular basis, we highly recommend beginning a walking program at least two months prior to this weekend. We want this to be a pleasant experience for all. Please contact us for advice or guidance. You may also choose to join us for the morning meditation hike and yoga and take the gentle hike. Idyllwild has many art galleries to explore or you can relax and read a book by the creek.
3:00 – 4:00 Restore with Dana (Saturday only) – Restorative yoga to balance, stretch, and deeply relax your body. The perfect way to complete the day!
4:30 Retreat Finishes (Sunday)
Friday you’ll be served a large, delicious Late Lunch after Yoga practice.
On Saturday and Sunday morning a bountiful Brunch Buffet will be served after yoga practice. A healthy & hearty packed lunch is provided each day for our long hikes on Saturday and Sunday. All meals are lacto-ovo vegetarian – most meals also have a vegan/gluten-free option.
Friday and Saturday evenings are free for you to explore and sample Idyllwild’s rich selection of restaurants and cafés.
Accommodation and Prices
This retreat offers several types of accommodation – cozy mountain lodgings, mountain homes, or camping under the stars.
Cozy Mountain Lodgings SOLD OUT
Each room features a knotty pine interior, vaulted ceilings, kitchenettes and private balconies with great forest views. Wi-Fi is available, although we encourage you to unplug for the weekend. The price includes 2 night’s accommodation, all yoga classes, daily hiking, and meals (see above). Accommodation can be arranged for Thursday/Sunday night upon request.
Please Note: On-site massage after a long hike is also available upon request.

Camping SOLD OUT
If you really want to connect with nature this weekend, then choose our camping option and sleep under a blanket of stars. Temperatures in May vary from highs of mid-70’s to low’s of high 40’s so you’ll need a good sleeping bag. We reserve spots nearby clean bathrooms with hot showers.
Camping– $385 per person
If you live nearby or are coming with a group and would prefer to rent your own mountain home for the weekend, Idyllwild has many options. This price includes all yoga classes, daily hiking and meals (see above), but does not include accommodations.
Own Accommodation – $365 per person + price of Mountain Home (see above)
