Backbends, when done safely and correctly will bring freedom, lightness and even euphoria to your yoga practice. In traditional Ashtanga Yoga we are taught to follow the practice and the skills will come. Knowledge helps accelerate the process. Art of Archery is a step-by-step approach to help you develop understanding and confidence in back-bending.
Strengthen your back while opening and releasing your chest, shoulders and front of the body. Create freedom, space and energy through unique stretches and playful exercises. Heal back injuries and improve your current yoga practice by learning the fine details of Archery (back-bending!).
A great workshop for students who have difficulty with backbending. Yoga teachers will learn new skills and improve the quality of their classes with fresh ideas to teach beginners.
